About: Perry Johnson

Perry is a successful global investor that has helped clients understand and navigate through the primary market trends for decades. He is the former CEO and CIO of BME Investment Partners and the former COO and CIO of Invesco Global Strategies. By linking economic fundamentals to market prices,  he has been able to develop business strategies and investment products that are relevant for the current investment backdrop. As a result, he is known for being a builder of business and for having an ability to raise significant amounts of client assets.

Outside of business, Perry has also was been one that gives back to the community. He ran a Christian business leader ministry for years. Over the last 5 years, he has been involved with Cloudwalk ministries which helps people connect with their God given purpose. Perry has been on the board of directors for 3 years and has served as the Chairman of the Board for the last two. Under his leadership, this young ministry has flourished and is having a profound impact on the community it serves.

Perry has been married for 34 years to Lucinda and they have two beautiful Children. Allison, who is 26, is an elementary school teacher. Trey, who is 23, works in the investment banking division of Sun Trust Bank. The entire family loves the outdoors. They swim, scuba dive, and enjoy fishing and hunting. Many family photos have the entire family in their hunting garb with their hunting dogs, Peanut and Kate

Outside of work, Perry has two passions. First, he strives to be a builder of people by helping others to reach their God, given potential. Secondly, he wants to be a protector of client capital as the excess credit in the global financial system unwinds. He believes investors must look forward and design products suited for the next investment cycle. Past experience will likely be a poor guide to the coming economic downturn.
